Frequently asked questions

What parents usually ask before signing up.

Is it actually free, or free-trial-then-paywall?

Free to use right now, full stop - no card required, no trial clock. See the Terms of Service for how we'd handle adding any paid features later.

What age is this really for?

Built for roughly 7-13. Younger kids who read comfortably can usually follow it; hint tone and pacing adjust to the age set on their profile.

Does my kid need to already know how to code?

No - the Python course starts from zero (variables, print statements) and builds up from there through a real beginner-to-intermediate curriculum.

Do I need to sit with them the whole time?

No. The AI buddy gives the hints during the lesson; the parent dashboard gives you a plain-language recap of what they worked on and where they got stuck, without needing to watch over their shoulder.

Is the code execution safe?

Yes - submitted code runs in an isolated sandbox, never directly on our servers or your device. See the Privacy Policy for exactly how that works.

What happens to my child's data?

Only what's needed to run their code, generate hints, and power the parent dashboard - never sold, no ads, no third-party trackers. Full detail in the Privacy Policy, and you can remove a child's profile (and all their data) at any time from the parent dashboard.

What if the AI gives a wrong or confusing hint?

It can happen - it's a real limitation of AI-generated hints, and it's why the system is designed to ask guiding questions rather than hand over answers, and why a parent can always see the actual conversation on the dashboard.

What subjects/languages are covered?

Python is the deepest course today, with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Scratch, and an "AI Basics" track alongside it - see the full list on the homepage.
